A graduate of the Konoplev Academy, he has played for the Azerbaijani Premier League club for the last three seasons.
Jamaldin Khodzhaniyazov (07/18/1996) was born in Turkmenistan, but he started playing football in Uzbekistan at the age of seven – at the Tashkent Chilanzar school. In 2009, the defender was selected to the Togliatti “Academy of Football named after Yuri Konoplev”, where he received football education for four years. In 2013, Jamaldin moved to Zenit from St. Petersburg, where he made his debut in the RPL and in the Champions League qualification. In Russia, Khodzhaniyazov also played for Amkar Perm (2014), Dynamo from St. Petersburg, Baltika Kaliningrad and Ural from Yekaterinburg (all in 2018).
Since the summer of 2015, the football player has defended the colors of the Danish Aarhus for two seasons, for which he played in 42 matches. In 2019, Jamaldin continued his career in the elite division of Azerbaijan. For the last three seasons, he represented the country’s Premier League club Sumgayit and played in 72 matches in total, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Khodzhaniyazov spent more than fifty matches for the youth and youth teams of Russia. Together with our midfielder Sergey Makarov, in 2013 Jamaldin was the creator of victory at the European Youth Championship (under 17), and in 2015 he was the silver medalist of the European Youth Championship (under 19).
