Togliatti football students have signed their first professional contracts.

Aleksey Gusev (05/17/2004) began playing football in his native Syzran (the first coaches were V.G. Klypo., E.A. Pugachev), and at the age of 12 he moved to Tolyatti to the Konoplev Academy. In the 2021 season, the young midfielder played in the third division tournaments with Akron-M under the guidance of our team’s coach Maxim Malakhovsky. In the spring part of the 2021/22 season, Gusev played 10 matches in the M-League as part of the Academy and scored five goals.

Artyom Malyshev (24.12.2004) was born in Tolyatti and learned the basics of football at the Impulse school (the first coaches were A.N. Petrov., O.A. Bobrov). Then, like Alexei, he got into the youth team of Akron and defended the red-black colors in the Championship and Cup of the IFS Volga Region. This spring, the striker took part in four M-League matches in the “Academy” and chalked up two goals scored.

In the new UFL-1 season, Gusev and Malyshev took part in five and four matches, respectively, Artyom scored a goal against Lokomotiv Moscow. The guys have already been involved in the training process of our team and went through pre-season training camps with it.

At Akron, Aleksey Gusev took number 78, Artyom Malyshev will play under number 90.
