According to the voting results at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Clubs of the League, Nail Izmailov became the head of the Football National League for a four-year term, for whom 53 clubs spoke.
The competition for this position was the president of FC Legion Shamil Lakhiyalov.
Nail Izmailov worked in the structure of Spartak Moscow from 2013 to 2019, including as a vice president, after which he was involved in projects in European football. In March of this year, he became the executive director of the FNL, and since July – the acting president of the League.
