We are delighted to announce that a new, 15,000 seater stadium will be built in the Avtozavodskiy district of Togliatti in the near future. A cooperation agreement between the Togliatti Administration, Akron Holding, and the Samara Regional Housing and Mortgage Fund was signed earlier this month.
Having our own stadium that meets the requirements of the Russian Premier League is an important part of our development strategy. We plan to equip our complex with all the necessary infrastructure to sustain a football club of our ambition; practice pitches, indoor fields, a medical centre, and a media studio are all included in our plans for the stadium.
Speaking about the announcement, Akron Holding CEO Pavel Morozov expressed his hope for the future of the club. “I am grateful to Mr. Viktor Kudryashov, Chairman of the Samara Region Government, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, as well as the city administration for their assistance in concluding this agreement. The construction of the stadium is a major step in our development plans, and the local territory has great potential to become an attractive area for local residents. Our goal is to make this place important to the local community, and as comfortable as possible to the city’s inhabitants. In the coming years, fans will be able to watch our games in Togliatti itself!”
Currently, Akron Holding is developing a draft design for the complex.
