FC Akron has signed a partnership agreement with Danone. Social projects and youth sports development will be the main areas of cooperation.

Maria Zharkova, Danone Regional Director for Corporate Communications: “When FC Akron came to us with a proposal that fully satisfies our mission, I was pleasantly surprised – we had the same philosophy in certain things.

We want to use the resources that Danone and FC Akron currently have to make some new projects. For example, we have products that we could provide for events, we have expertise in the field of healthy nutrition, technology, internal and external information resources. When there are no exclusively millions and logos behind the agreement, creative approach remains in partnership”.

Alexey Vlasov, CEO of the Akron Football Club: “Our task, among other things, is to be a social project. We put social and environmental initiatives as important ways of development outside the football field. First of all, our goal is the youth sports development, participation in social projects, including the development of football entirely in the region. We are a young club, and Danone has already come a long way and we have a lot to learn from them”.
