Today Academy was visited by the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Samara Region Dmitry Bogdanov on a planned working visit.

The minister was given a tour of the Academy, and was presented with a program of construction activities to modernize the infrastructure of the school. Dmitry Bogdanov got acquainted with the changes that have taken place since the conclusion of the concession agreement in this May.

“According to our obligations under the concession agreement, within a certain time we must make a complete reconstruction of the “Academy. Yu. Konoplev”: to build new fields, build an arena for children’s activities in winter, a four-story sports and recreation complex, which will house a modern medical center, a gym, team locker rooms, premises for office specialists and technical services. One of the activities planned for the near future is the gasification of the Academy. Currently, all buildings are heated by diesel fuel. We are also engaged in the purchase of professional equipment, sports equipment, we carry out cosmetic repairs of existing premises,” commented the asset management department of AKRON HOLDING.

At the moment, the investor has done a lot of work on the preparation of design estimates, the purchase of a lawn. It is planned that next year the artificial turf of all fields of the Academy will be updated.

“AKRON HOLDING entered the Konoplev Academy through the conclusion of a concession agreement with plans for the complete reconstruction of the facility, improvement of the material and technical base, and changes in the process of preparing football players. We expect that this will give both sporting and economic results. It will positively influence the development of sports in the Samara region and Russia in general,” said Dmitry Bogdanov.
