On December 10, in the hall of the local sports complex “Neftyanik” a mini-football tournament among veterans, dedicated to the memory of Keilin V.M. – ex-chairman of the Samara Regional Football Federation, a well-known provincial sports journalist and public figure.

Six teams took part in the competition: Akron, Krylia Sovetov, Buzuluk, Otradny, Syzran-2003 and Volzhsky. The teams played in a round robin system – each with each and, accordingly, played five matches.

Akron was represented by: Maxim Tokarev, Ivan Kireev, Ruslan Adygezalov, Alexander Monov, Alexei Vereshchak, Alexander Eshkin, Javid Bairamov and Alexander Permyakov.

Our team was the only one that did not lose a single match. On the way to the gold medals of the tournament, Akron defeated Krylia Sovetov (3:0), Buzuluk (5:3), Otradny (2:0) and Syzran-2003 (3:1) , and also tied with an opponent from Volzhsky (1:1).
